The AIMS U15 Basketball tournament at ISKL was a positive and rewarding experience for both our boys’ and girls’ teams.
The boys’ team performed well during the group stages. Due to the point differential, they progressed to compete for 5th and 6th place. The boys showed strong determination and teamwork, securing a well-deserved victory against ISP to finish 5th overall.
The girls’ team had an outstanding tournament run, advancing all the way to the finals. In a closely contested match against ISKL, they narrowly missed the title, finishing in an impressive 2nd place. Notably, the girls’ squad consisted primarily of Year 7 and Year 8 students. Competing in a higher age group has provided them with valuable high-level experience that will greatly benefit their future development.
Overall, this tournament marks a commendable achievement for both the boys’ and girls’ teams. Their performances, resilience, and growth throughout the competition reflect very positively.

Our boys played exceptionally well throughout the competition, showing determination and teamwork in every match. Despite facing some tough opponents, they battled through the tournament with only one loss. Their strong performance resulted in a three-way tie at the top of the standings, which was ultimately decided by the head-to-head rule. Having secured crucial victories against the other tied schools, our boys proudly emerged as champions securing the gold medal and plaque for the rest of the year.

A fantastic performance by the girls this weekend at the U15 FOBISIA netball competition, expertly led by our two captains, Aisha K (10R) and Gabriella S (10Q). The girls played some exceptional netball on Saturday in the group stages, winning 5 out of 6 games, only narrowly missing out on a clean sweep by a 1-goal loss to Dulwich College Singapore.
Sunday saw us progress into the finals of the cup competition. First up was Dulwich College B Team, where KLASS showed their dominance and came out with the win, confirming their place in the top 4. Next up was Tanglin Trust School (TTS), who were overall winner. KLASS fought hard and kept the score close in the opening stages of the game, a few missed shots and errors allowed TTS to pull away and win the match. Testament to their hard work as this was one of the closest scores against TTS all weekend..
In the playoff game, we faced Garden International School (GIS) for the second time this weekend and were hoping for a repeat of the group stages. GIS came out strong, wanting the bronze medal as much as KLASS did and it was a tie of 6 - 6 at the end of the normal 16 minutes of game time. KLASS listened well to the umpires as we went into golden goal time, and secured the win in the additional time, winning the game 7-6 to become the FOBISIA Cup Bronze medal winners.

The KLASS Series Climbing Event had a strong turnout with 15 climbers showing up despite many absentees due to production events and other commitments. It was an important final preparation before SEASAC Singapore, and the team delivered solid performances.
Fergus McCarthy secured 1st place again, followed by Nikael Manuel in 2nd and Kieran Liu in 3rd. Fiona Phadnis earned her first KLASS Series MVP, a well deserved achievement.
A focused and motivating session as we head into SEASAC Singapore. 💪
