Tuition and Fees

The table below is a summary of the initial fees and deposits required by new students, as agreed by the Alice Smith Schools Association for 2023-2024. All fees are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia. Fees are reviewed annually and subject to change. All fees are non-refundable unless indicated.

2023-2024 School Fees

  1. All school fees are billed on a termly basis and are payable by the first day of the term. There shall be three (3) terms in an academic year.                                         
  2. Tuition fees are inclusive of all books, materials and resources. 
  3. A parent deposit equivalent to a term tuition fee is required for each child (except for Year 12 and Year 13) and is billed in the first invoice of the academic year. This amount is ‘topped­-up’ as the tuition fee increases in accordance to year group. The deposit is refundable when the child leaves the school with sufficient notification (one full term’s notice).

* A fee of RM4,500 per term will be levied on the EAL programme.

Application and Enrolment
1. Application fees, non-refundable

    To be paid in order to confirm the placement of a child

3. Re-entry fee (This amount is payable for children who have left the Alice Smith School and are returning  to the school within a period  of five (5) years from the date they left school. After five (5) years or more, new application terms apply). RM 2,000
Membership in the Alice Smith Schools Association
1) Parents who wish to have their child admitted to the School as a student must first be admitted as Parent Member of the Alice Smith Schools Association ("the Association")
2) Parents must pay a membership fee of RM 20 to join the Association
3) All Parent Members shall contribute to the Building Fund of the Association as follows:
     a. Building fund contribution (one-off per child upon admission)
  • Pre-School to Reception (The payment of Building Fund Contribution of a child admitted into Pre-school and Reception will  be deferred to the point of the child progressing to Year 1)  RM 10,000
  • Year 1 to Year 11   RM 10,000
  • Year 12 to Year 13 Nil 
      b. Building fund levy (RM 2,200 per child) is payable on a termly basis per child and is billed together with the school fees.
 

Sibling Discount

Sibling Discount is only applicable to families with three or more children attending the School at the same time.

Payment Details

There are three options for the payment of school fees for any academic years:

  • Option 1 - Upfront payment of full year fees (with a discount)
  • Option 2 - Termly payment
  • Option 3 - Monthly installment payment (not applicable to new student in their first academic year)

Accepted methods of term fees payment:

1. JomPAY 

Applicable for internet and mobile banking of Malaysia banks only.

JomPay*JomPAY is Malaysia’s national bill payment scheme established and operated by Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), under the auspices of Bank Negara Malaysia with the participation of banks and large billers. It is available at Internet and Mobile Banking of Malaysia banks only.

2. Online Transfer

Please note that overseas telegraphic transfers are not possible in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Transactions in GBP/USD or other currencies must be equivalent to the amount charged in MYR.

Cheque made payable to The Alice Smith Schools Association.

Please note: Cash payments at the Finance Department of each campus are no longer possible. Should you wish to make a cash payment, kindly utilise a cash deposit machine (CDM) at the nearest HSBC branch and email the bank-in slip(s) to [email protected]

OTHER PAYMENT

All other payments such as pre-ordering meals, trips & events, peripatetic music fees etc are to be accepted at KLASS o.p.s only. Kindly note that KLASS o.p.s is only applicable to existing parents. Available modes of payment at KLASS o.p.s are credit card, debit card, FPX and Boost.
