What an incredible performance by our KLASS Lions (Alice Smith School) at the AIMS Swim Series Final! Our young athletes took to the pool with determination, bringing home fantastic individual results and securing a top-tier team finish.

U9 (8 & Under) – A Dominant Display

Our U9 team was the standout highlight of the meet, securing 2nd place overall in the Combined Team Scores with a massive 556 points.

  • Grace P was the star of the show, finishing as the #1 Individual Points Scorer for the 8 & Under Girls with 120 points. She also dominated the 100 SC Meter IM preliminaries, taking 1st place with a time of 1:33.31.
  • Sven Y showcased his strength in the 100 SC Meter Breaststroke, claiming 1st place in the finals with a stellar time of 1:29.91.
  • Kirsten T finished 10th in individual points (56 points) and 8th in the 25 SC Meter Freestyle finals (18.62s).
  • Claudia L (14th Individual Points) also impressed, reaching the finals in the 25m Freestyle (11th place) and placing 6th in the 100m IM prelims.
  • Other great efforts in the 25m Freestyle came from Karen T (14th in finals) , Finn M, and Patrick M.

U11 (9-10) – Speed and Grit

The U11 Lions showed exceptional speed in the 25 SC Meter Freestyle events, with several swimmers qualifying for the competitive final rounds.

  • Chloe A led the charge for the U11 Girls, securing a podium finish with 3rd place in the 25m Freestyle (15.47s).
  • Amelia L followed closely in 5th place (15.69s) , while Hannah Y tied for 9th place in the same event (16.25s).
  • On the boys' side, Cristan C powered his way to 7th place in the 25m Freestyle finals (15.64s).
  • James W also broke into the top 10, finishing in 10th place with a time of 16.02s.
  • Strong preliminary swims were also recorded by Mia T (25m Backstroke) , Otto D, Theo B, and Augustine M.
