A mixed set of results today for our U9 boys and girls teams against Garden International School. The experience, however, is vital in the build-up to the annual AIMS event, which is closing in fast. All coaches were very happy with their players' teamwork and commitment.
2. U9 AIMS Football
Date: Saturday, 16th May
Venue: Garden International School
Opponent: GIS, ISKL, KTJ, ISP, BSKL
A great morning of football was enjoyed by students and parents alike across two venues. At BSKL, our Boys’ B team finished fifth overall with a mix of wins, draws and defeats. Not much separated any of the teams to be honest and many of the games were settled with wonder goals from distance. Paul and Idris scored a couple of these themselves to help drag us from defeat or help to cement a victory. It was great to see the boys trying to move the balls around and play out from the back. It was also great to see them play with such big smiles on their faces. Overall, a really positive experience for all as they develop in the sport.
Meanwhile, over at GIS, Boys’ A delivered an outstanding performance to emerge as champions. Competing in Group B they topped the group with wins over BSKL (1–0) and KTJ (3–0). In the final against GIS, the boys produced a thrilling 3–2 comeback victory. Having lost to the same opponent just days earlier in a friendly, it felt like a similar story was unfolding - but this time, the team showed incredible resilience and belief to overturn the result in the final moments. A dramatic and fully deserved win.
Girls A also showed encouraging progress throughout the tournament. After a 0–2 loss to ISKL while still finding their rhythm, they responded with a convincing 4–0 win over ISP. Finishing 2nd in Group B, they secured 3rd place with a 2–0 victory against BSKL. Their growth and understanding of the game highlight a bright future.
A big thank you to all coaches, parents, and staff for their continuous support.

3. Badminton
Team: U11 Girls and Boys
Event Date: 14th May 2026
Venue: GIS
Opponents: GIS
An excellent afternoon of badminton for our team. There were some excellent performances from both teams and some stunning doubles play from our boys. Most impressive for me was the positive attitude in the face of defeat from some of our players. They were so quick to congratulate their opponents on their excellent play. This attitude is exactly what we want from our athletes. We always compete to win, we always compete to enjoy, but importantly, we always compete to learn.
