KLASS Lions Make a Splash Across Two Thrilling Swimming Events!
Our KLASS Lions swimmers have been busy showcasing their incredible talent and dedication across two separate and exciting swimming competitions over the past few days!
1. AIMS Primary Swimming 2025: Lions Finish Strong (5th May 2025)
First up, the KLASS Lions roared at the AIMS Primary Swimming 2025 Championships held on the 5th of May. Our team displayed fantastic spirit and skill, finishing a commendable 2nd overall in a tightly contested competition against other top schools. While GIS ultimately took the top spot with a lead of approximately 250 points, our Lions are already showing their determination to come back even stronger next year!
Here are some of the top performances from our talented U11 and U9 swimmers at the AIMS Primary Swimming 2025:
Girls U11:
- Bee, Kimberley: Demonstrated outstanding ability in the 200 SC Meter IM (2:40.35) and the 50 SC Meter Backstroke (36.38).
- Yong Zhang Ya, Alynna: Showed a strong performance in both the 200 SC Meter IM (2:54.67) and the 50 SC Meter Backstroke (36.39).
- Zulki li, Zuhayra Adn: Impressed in the 100 SC Meter Freestyle (1:11.05) and the 50 SC Meter Butterfly (33.79).
- Kimura (Merican), Keina: Put in a great effort in the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay (2:37.88) and the 100 SC Meter Freestyle (1:19.32).
Boys U11:
- Tee, Him: Delivered an excellent performance in the 200 SC Meter IM (2:45.63) and the 100 SC Meter Freestyle (1:07.95).
- Thon, Kok Jun: Showed a strong presence in the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay (2:35.12) and the 100 SC Meter Freestyle (1:11.21).
- HO, Gerald: Impressed in the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay (2:35.12), 50 SC Meter Backstroke (38.71), and 100 SC Meter Backstroke (1:23.44).
- Tsoy, Vova: Put in a great effort in the 200 SC Meter Medley Relay (2:35.12) and the 100 SC Meter Backstroke (1:29.32).
Girls U9:
- Phan, Grace: Showed a strong performance in the 100 SC Meter IM (1:35.33), 25 SC Meter Backstroke (21.89), and 50 SC Meter Freestyle (36.22).
- Yeoh, Hannah: Achieved good results in the 50 SC Meter Freestyle (38.02), 100 SC Meter IM (1:45.87), and 25 SC Meter Butterfly (20.82).
- Metzner, Kira: Achieved good times in the 25 SC Meter Backstroke (24.47), 100 SC Meter Medley Relay (1:41.19), and 50 SC Meter Backstroke (52.26).
- Chiew, Andrea: Showed promise in the 100 SC Meter IM (1:52.41), 25 SC Meter Breaststroke (26.55), and 25 SC Meter Butterfly (23.65).
Boys U9:
- Bee, Theo: Demonstrated a strong performance in the 100 SC Meter IM (1:44.09), 25 SC Meter Backstroke (23.16), 50 SC Meter Freestyle (40.75), and 50 SC Meter Backstroke (51.60).
- HO, Gareth: Achieved good results in the 100 SC Meter IM (1:48.53), 25 SC Meter Backstroke (23.55), and 25 SC Meter Butterfly (20.60).
- Atkinson, Rocco: Achieved good times in the 50 SC Meter Freestyle (40.65), 100 SC Meter IM (1:48.40), and 25 SC Meter Butterfly (22.15).
- Tan, Freddie: Showed promise in the 100 SC Meter Medley Relay (1:31.07), 100 SC Meter IM (2:04.75), 25 SC Meter Breaststroke (25.54), and 25 SC Meter Backstroke (28.82).
2. AIMS Series Grand Finals 2025 (3rd May 2025): Lions Conquer!
Adding to their achievements, these same talented swimmers also competed in the AIMS Series Grand Finals 2025 held just prior on the 3rd of May. Here, the KLASS Lions truly shone, securing impressive individual results and overall age division victories in the U9 and U11 categories!

Across both the AIMS Primary Swimming Championships and the AIMS Series Grand Finals, the KLASS Lions have demonstrated incredible skill, determination, and teamwork.
