Happy 75th Birthday!

The 75th Birthday Party held virtually on 1st November was a blast! It was well attended by hundreds of guests consisting of alumni all over the world, parents, staff, donors, partners and friends who came together for this very special celebration.

Wonderful memories were shared from when our school first started back in 1946, with many well wishes for this special occasion. We had the honour of H.E. Charles Hay, the British High Commissioner to Malaysia who delivered an enlightening and inspiring birthday message to our school, being the oldest not-for-profit British international school in Malaysia. The event was made even more memorable with birthday greetings from our community.

#KLASSicsAroundtheWorld Reunions

Our #KLASSicsAroundtheWorld reunions kick-started meaningfully in London on 16th September in celebration of our 75th anniversary. Our KLASSics friends had a good time catching up. Thank you to all who attended the reunion. A huge thank you to our first Alumni Rep, Lena Fricker (KLASS 2002-2016) for hosting the reunion on behalf of KLASSics. This is our first reunion hosted by our Alumni Rep.

The excitement continued with our Perth reunion held on 15th October. So many great memories and stories were shared during our first reunion in Perth! Long lost friends were found and new friendships were made. A good mix of alumni attended the reunion from KLASS of 1949 to 2000. Some alumni came dressed in their old school uniform back in the 1980s and some shared priceless old photos to walk down memory lane. So much laughter, so much joy in celebration of our 75 years of history. A huge thank you to our alumni host, Lucas Kong (KLASS of 1989-2001).

A virtual get-together was also held in mid September for our Golden Stars alumni. Wonderful memories were shared as our alumni reminisced their good old days back in school and the priceless memorabilia that they still hold dear to their hearts.

The reunions will continue in March next year in Canada, the States, Hong Kong and Melbourne. Do #StayConnected. #75GreatYears

Past Events

As tradition, we have continually hosted KLASSics alumni Get-togethers throughout these years. From London to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, with our most notable meet up last year in Australia for the very first time - it has indeed been wonderful occasions that brings back alumni from all over the world and from different backgrounds to reunite again.

A Momentous Occasion, KLASSics Took On Virtual Reunions!

Another milestone was achieved together with our alumni on 18th and 19th August 2020, when KLASSics held its first ever online alumni reunion. We were delighted to have our alumni for taking the time to connect with us from all over the world, in so many different time zones like the UK, USA, Europe, Australia and back home here in Malaysia.

It was certainly an unforgettable and unique reunion with our fellow alumni, including former teachers and some of the school's longest serving current teachers. There were many great stories shared, from chatting about their favourite teachers to alumni showing their memorabilia and even reminiscing the ice-cream man who was well remembered by most older alumni.
