Our U19 Touch Rugby competed in ISAC during the weekend, the final stop on the road to SEASAC.
We got a lot of game time together as a team which allowed us to work on and clean up a lot of the moves that we have been focussing on this season. The competition was tough and tiring but we worked really hard and played well to win our first match against Marlborough College whom we lost to last year. Similarly, during the 3rd and 4th play-off, we beat ISKL JV 4-0, securing the bronze medal. In ISAC last year, we were in the same play-off against the same team and only narrowly won in drop-offs. This really shows how much the team has improved from last year and is in a much better position for SEASAC where we hope to finish in the top 4. There are still things to work on as a team before the tournament, but ISAC has boosted our confidence and allowed the team to go into SEASAC positively.
