The lunch time lecture series is now in its fifth year at EP. Over the years, we have enjoyed a wide range of really interesting talks that have spanned from Crops for the Future, Fashion Design, Politics, Photojournalism, Economics, to name but a few.
We have had ambassadors, CEOs, the Head of Google, entrepreneurs, advertising executives, oil executives, journalists and a myriad of really interesting people that have given up their time to give our EP community a thirty minute talk with Q and A.
This week though, for me, surpassed all others. We were very fortunate to have our first ever current student give us a lecture. Joyce Tan in Year 12 spoke to us about the psychology of body language, with specific reference to politics.
Joyce has chosen to study this for her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and gave a really impressive, confident and interactive talk. She has obviously worked very hard on this and proved that she really understood her chosen subject area.
Congratulations to Joyce - in five years, this was one of the best. I sincerely hope that this is just the beginning of students sharing their expertise with us.
