Recently our Year 13 students were
challenged to build a wind turbine out of recycled materials.
Over two weeks,
the students researched, designed, built, and tested their Wind Turbines in
order to produce the turbine with the greatest power generation. Along with
this, the students completed a full written report describing the theory behind
Wind Turbines and a video diary depicting their design journey. The event was a
great success with students really enjoying the challenge in which they picked
up many new skills which will prove beneficial to them as they progress to
University next year.
