What a pleasure it has been to have students back in school
School simply isn't school without our young learners and there has
been a real buzz both in lessons and out and about at breaks and lunchtimes. I
have really enjoyed meeting and having conversations with many students;
sharing news about summer holidays and also about the successes of this first
week and goals for the year.
We have certainly ‘hit the ground running’ so to speak and
already sporting trials are underway and information about extra-curricular
activities is being shared with sign-ups taking place next week. I would also
like to remind you that next week, we are holding our Key Stage 3 and 4 Back to
School Night on Thursday 11th at 7pm which is an opportunity for
parents to learn about our systems and procedures, the curriculum,
communication and pastoral care.
Please take a moment to read the Building Updates from Mr Lazaro and look at the photos of the
wonderful spaces that are taking shape.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing
you on Thursday evening for our Back to School Night.
