The air has cleared and it is back to life as usual with a bang!
With only 1 full week left, there is a real buzz about the campus as the examination season looms closer and students higher up the school sharpen their focus. And yet it is still so busy!
We started the week on Sunday with the Farringdon KLASS Triathlon, which involved so many competitors from both campuses and from the Australian School, Nexus, Garden and other local schools, as well as SEASAC Badminton Teams competing away in Singapore and Hong Kong.
This was closely followed by performance exams in Art, Digital Photography, Music, Drama and PE; all contributing to the final GCSE and A Level grades. Years 9-13 have spent time with a Drugs Education Specialist from FCD, and a parent talk also took place on Wednesday. The FOBISIA Primary Arts Carnival has been running all week and continues into the weekend at the Secondary Campus. All this while lessons and the everyday schooling continues!
Finally, this evening our Sixth Formers will be hosting the Annual Charity Dinner. This will now take place at Petronas Plaza at KLCC and not the Shangri-La Hotel. Details of the revised venue have been emailed to all guests. Please contact the office if you have not received them. This last minute change of venue is unfortunate and out of the school’s control but understandable as it is a consequence of the recent MH370 tragedy. We thank all those parents, students and staff involved in the event for their understanding.
