On Tuesday evening, KLASS hosted the ISAC B U19 Football final. The two matches that were played by KLASS football B team were both exciting and full of action, namely the vast amount of goals scored in both matches.
In the first game against Sunway it was very close up to half time being 2-1 but this drastically changed in the second half when Sunway came away with another 5 goals in 5 minutes bringing the score up to 7-1. However, KLASS were able to come up with a late goal bringing the final score to 7-2. The Sunway team did go on to win the tournament and the KLASS team put up a valiant effort to try and win the game.
The second game was against GIS for the third and fourth place. By the end of the first half the score was 3-2 in favour of KLASS and the game only got more heated in the second half. A few minutes into the first half GIS brought the score up to 3-3 which pushed the KLASS players to put in a lot of physical effort into the last minutes of the game. It was a nail biter of a game to watch and play. The excellent distribution from goalkeeper Josh Faehrmann towards the attacking combination of Temwani Mumba & Imran Reaze lead to 2 more stunning goals for KLASS to give them the win with a final score of 5-3. The tournament was a great experience for the players and they will be looking forward to future tournaments against other schools.
