This year we are all looking forward to the first ever KLASS PTA Spring Fair at the Secondary Campus (EP). We would really love and appreciate your help to make it the fab fun-filled event we know it will be…
While preparations are already underway for this year’s Spring Fair extravaganza (SAVE THE DATE – Saturday 4th March at the Secondary Campus), there is still plenty of time to sign-up to help out. If you’re keen to join the organising committee, just send an email to the PTA at pta@alice-smith.edu.my. Alternatively, we will also be needing volunteers on the day to mann the stalls and supervise the games; so there are loads of ways you can help. Just watch this space for more information on how you can get involved. If you’re new to the school, this really is a fantastic event that is enjoyed by all of the family so you really won’t want to miss it!
You may have spotted the latest addition at the front of the school by the turtle pond - a Tree House! This has been built for the school with funds raised by the PTA and was officially opened this morning. We hope it will be a quiet place for the children to read, hang out, explore and chill. We are certain it will be a big hit with everyone. Click link here for more photos.
Next month the PTA is hosting a Valentine’s Dance for KS3 students on Saturday 18th February at EP. It will take place from 7pm until 9.30pm and tickets will be on sale shortly. With a live band, some top tunes and some tasty treats, it’s sure to be a really great night! You’ll see posters and flyers around school soon.
Sign up for the next KLASS Social Event now! The Vietnamese cookery lesson, run by Alice Smith mum Duyen Kerr, will take place on two dates: Monday 16th February and Wednesday 18th February (9.30 am to 1.30pm on both days). Duyen will be demonstrating how to make Vietnamese fresh prawn spring rolls, Pho chicken noodle soup, pomelo salad and a lotus dessert. Payment is RM 150 and will need to be made in cash on the day. The location will be shared with you once you signed-up, which you can do here. Please note that if you cancel within 48 hours and we cannot fill the space, you WILL be required to make the payment.
