Thank you one and all for another fantastic term!
Despite working in education for more years than I would like to admit, I am still forever surprised at the pace of the school year. Where does the time go? Already we find ourselves at the end of term 2… so much has already happened and there are so many fantastic things ahead!
Thank you to all of you who have given feedback about the Parent Teacher Student Conferences (PTSCs). It has been a pleasure to read your comments about the new system, reflecting on the learning of your child(ren) and the fantastic opportunities that the conferences have allowed for sharing work, passions and areas for further development. We really do appreciate you taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Thank you for your continued support.
Sports carnivals and swimming galas have been the order of the day for the PE and Aquatics teams over the past half term. The fabulous passion and excitement has put the soundproofing of the rest of the school to test throughout! Thank you to all of you who came along to cheer on your family’s house! The students had a truly wonderful time, I know they really appreciated your support.
The Year 2 production ‘thank you’ coffee morning was well attended this week, quite rightly, the Year 2 team wanted to show their appreciation to all of the parents who spent time in creative workshops designing and making the awe inspiring costumes for ‘It’s a Bug’s Life’. The effects on stage were quite magical, we hope you enjoyed your coffee and cakes by way of appreciation!.
On coffee and cake, a huge thank you to the PTA who arranged for nibbles and treats to be delivered to the staff room on Wednesday. Staff appreciation day certainly made staff feel very appreciated! Your time energy and efforts to coordinate such a bountiful array of decadent desserts and treats made us all feel very special! Thank you.
Finally, well done to all the children and parent volunteers involved in the wonderful Easter assembly - what a fantastic way to bring the term to a close.
Next term, I know, will be as busy as this one, enjoy a well deserved break with family and friends wherever you may be!
