On Friday 18th March we are very lucky to be welcoming speakers from St Anne’s College, University of Oxford. We highly recommend that all students who have a desire to study at any of the Oxbridge colleges in the future attend this important event.
Parents are also more than welcome. Our guests will be Prof Martin R Speight, Associate Professor of Zoology and Admissions Coordinator for Biological Sciences and Dr Shannon McKellar Stephen a Senior Tutor and Tutor for Admissions at St Anne’s College. They will be discussing everything from how to apply, what tutors are looking for in applicants, how the Oxford College system works as well as giving a revealing insight into what it’s like to study for a degree in the unique environment of the University of Oxford. This will be particularly useful to students in Years 11 and 12.
The event will take place at The Sixth Form Learning Centre, Secondary Campus from 4pm on Friday 18th March and will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, including a presentation and time for questions and answers.
Please confirm your attendance with Ms Spittal at sspittal.ep@alice-smith.edu.my so that we may have an idea of numbers attending.
