After two phases of issue, we now have students in Years 8, 9 and 11 who have their ID cards which can also act as payment cards at the following venues at EP:
- student deli
- coffee shop
- school shop
We haven’t issued Years 7, 10 and 12 yet because we are waiting for the photos of these students to be updated on our systems. Photos will be taken next week and sometime soon after that, students in these year groups can expect to receive their ID cards. Year 13 students won’t be given cards at all bearing in mind they only have a few more weeks until they leave.
For those of you who are still relatively new to the ID cards, I would suggest you look at our FAQs to find out a little more about how we would like these to work.
I would encourage all families to register these cards with Touch ‘n Go. In the unlikely event of a card being lost, this will enable you to cancel the card quickly and easily, and thereby allow us to re-issue a card with minimum delay. Instructions for doing this are all in the FAQs.
I’m delighted to say that the cards have been a real success - payments are certainly quicker than with cash and students are also starting to use their cards in the library.
If you have any questions, please do contact me at school.
