The Year 12 students are coming to the end of their first year in the Sixth Form and working towards their university decision making and application.
As part of the PSHE and Higher Education programme in the Sixth Form we are covering a unit on interview skills, but nothing compensates for the real thing. To this end, we are looking for parents to help students experience a real interview with someone that they do not know. We have traditionally enjoyed a great response from parents and hope to do so again this year.
We are looking for parents to conduct 10 minute character interviews with Year 12 students on the following dates:
- Tuesday 16th February
- Tuesday 8th March
- Tuesday 15th March
- Tuesday 22nd March
No experience is required; all information regarding the students will be supplied ahead of time. The interviews will take place at the Secondary Campus between 11.30 am – 12.20 pm. We kindly request all parent volunteers to arrive at the school for 11.10 am where we will conduct a briefing in preparation for the interviews. Any help that you can offer our students is much appreciated for all or any of the dates required. Interested parents should email Sheila Spittal, in Higher Education at email@example.com.
We look forward to having you at the school.
