The BookSwap Bookshelf has now arrived in the Parent Deli at JB! This is a PTA initiative just for the adults in the KLASS community. It’s very informal; please feel free to bring in a book (or two!) and choose another to take away with you. Please bear with us as we build it up; we’re most grateful for donations of no longer wanted books in good condition (preferably fiction; and for adults, not for kids please!), but please ensure that those you bring will fit tidily in the shelves. Thanks so much for your support and spread the word!
Keen to get into the Christmas spirit (there’s no avoiding it with all the decorations now going up in the malls and shops!)? Christmas decorations will be going up across the school on the morning of Tuesday 1st December; we’d be really grateful if we could get teams of parent volunteers together to help decorate both JB and EP Campuses (one team at each!); many hands make light work and there will be refreshments too! Please sign up via this Google doc . We’ll also put out a reminder on the KLASS PTA Facebook page nearer the time.
You’ll have received the email from PTA Chair Alex Williams regarding donations and/or sponsorship of the Christmas Bazaar (and the Charity Dinner in February). We’re most grateful for all contributions; for more details, remember that you can review the letter through the Parent Portal. Thank you so much in anticipation! Your support makes these events the success that they are!
Dates for your diary:
If you haven’t already, please note down the date for the Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 12th December, 4-7pm at JB. Look out for the posters around both campuses!
Coming soon in the New Year is the KLASS Charity Dinner on Friday 5th February 2016 at the Shangri-La Hotel. This is a fantastic event and a great fundraiser, a really fun evening; with quality entertainment and wonderful service from KLASS Sixth Formers. Watch this space for further details and get the date in your diary!
