Athletics season
Upon the conclusion of the basketball and football seasons, we will commence our preparation for the athletics season (Mid Nov 2015 - late Feb 2016). Selection trials will be held on the dates below and we aim to pick a large Athletics Development Squad to train towards selection for the U11 & U9 ISAC athletics KLASS Lions Team competition in February. We hope all children will get to participate in an athletics competition against Garden International School, but unfortunately we can only take restricted numbers to the ISAC Athletics competition. Children will get to participate and train in a variety of track events ranging from sprints to 800m and many field events, some of which are simplified for our younger athletes. A letter regarding further information and registration will follow soon.

U11 Athletics selection trials will be held at 3.15 - 5pm on Thursday 19th November
U11 Term 2 Football season
Following the conclusion of the Term 1 U9 & U11 football seasons, we move forward with our U11 open training for all. In preparation for Term 2, we are opening U11 football training to all boys and girls in Year 5&6. Children will all have the opportunity to attend up to 4 training session in Term 1. From these 4 training sessions, we will make our selection for our Term 2 U11 football teams.
Next term we hope to expand our U11 football programme to 76 U11 children (38 boys and 38 girls) per squad. These teams will get to participate in an end of season ISAC competition and hopefully play in some friendly fixtures as warm up games. A sign up letter and document will be circulated in early November with further information.
Training days and dates as follows:
- Girls training sessions for selection on Tuesdays starting on 17th November for 4 consecutive weeks.
- Boys training sessions for selection on Wednesdays starting on 18th November for 4 consecutive weeks.
Information for the U11 FOBISIA Games in May 2016
The U11 FOBISIA Games is a multi sport competition involving Year 5&6 students participating in Athletics, Swimming, Tee Ball (similar to baseball) and Football. This year we will travel to Bangkok Patana School in May for the 3 day competition.
Selection for this team (10 Boys + 10 Girls from year 5 and the same numbers from year 6) is based on observations of children by PE teachers, swimming teachers and coaches throughout the year. We advise children wishing to be considered for the team to attend the above sports trials and ECAs for all 4 events so teachers and coaches can see them participating in the specified events.

KLASS Modern Biathlon
We anticipate having 80+ students attend the event on Sunday at the JB campus. Please ensure you have registered online and arrive at the correct time ready to start the event.
We hope the haze stays at bay and will make a decision on the event on Saturday if it needs to be postponed. Please check your emails on Saturday evening to check on the event/haze update.
ISAC X-Country
Unfortunately this event will not be rearranged. Please can your children hand their kit back to Mr Morgan in the PE department and check their name off the list. Many thanks
