The new block has been completed and so ends the nomadic existence of the staff who live there. To celebrate our new home and bond with our new neighbours, we organised a Fun Run to take place in the penultimate week of term. This involved everyone running during lunch or after school with at least one other person from the new building and then recording the distance to see how many kilometres we could clock up.
In all we managed 110kms between us, a respectable distance during a busy week in the lead up to trips! Top place goes to David Morris for his 15km run but special mention should also go to Agnes Chang who according to the staff who work with her, never runs anywhere! She managed to complete just under 10 kms.
Such was the success of the week that there is a groundswell of enthusiasm to keep it going - maybe Agnes will eventually be ready for a marathon!
