Best wishes to our Year 5 and 6 students participating in the FOBISIA games hosted by Shrewsbury School in Bangkok this weekend. I am looking forward to seeing some of the T-Ball and Football competitions over the weekend.
Recently we wrote to you about the discussions taking place regarding charting of our school’s future and creating the opportunities and experiences that reflect our aspirations as a learning community. You are invited to a presentation to hear more about the vision for the future of Alice Smith School. This will take place in the JB Primary Campus Hall at 7:30pm on Monday 25th May.
Your feedback is highly valued in this process as we plan for the future and we hope that you will take the opportunity to complete the parent survey(s) before the closing time of 10:00pm on Tuesday 26th May. The links were shared with you earlier this week and can be accessed through the parent portal. Join in our fun House points competition and support your child's House by completing the survey this year.
Next week you will be hearing more about the learning technology developments commencing next academic year.
As happens every year, there are staff leaving us in the summer and we wish them all the very best for the future and thank them sincerely for their contribution to Alice Smith. This a new whole school post and Ian will work closely with our current PE staff and the wider community in developing our sports provision throughout the campuses. Ms Maria Osowiecki will be our new Head of Humanities and Head of History, relocating from the Gloucester School in Germany.

Please remember that you can contribute towards relief work in Nepal through the work being done by the community of the British School of Kathmandu and through the collection boxes in the reception areas at both campuses.
