atmosphere at the EP Campus during the run up to the end of term has been
celebratory yet focussed. We have been holding a series of end of term
celebration assemblies, some of which have been completely student led with
incredible performances of both music and poetry.
Our senior students have also been focused on
coursework deadlines, PE, Art, Digital Photography and Drama exams and with
revision for the start of the main exam season after Easter. Students have
received information and support on how best to prepare for exams from their
subject teachers and Key Stage teams. Whilst it is important to have a
structured revision timetable and make good use of the holidays for revision,
it is also important for students to relax and recharge their batteries after a
long and busy term.
Year 7 students impressed teachers and their peers with wonderful poems they
created for the House Poetry Competition - ‘If
I ruled the world…..’. The final was held this Monday and the performances
were excellent with an impressive use of language and dramatic effects. Thank
you to Mrs Stewart-Williams for organising the competition.
last day today was also Fairfield House Day. Thank you to Mr Morris and the
Fairfield Team for organising the vast array of fun activities and stalls to
raise money for charity. What a great way to end the term!
Easter and I hope you have a wonderful holiday! We look forward to welcoming
students back to school on Tuesday 21st April.
