The Qualifications and
Curriculum Authority (QCA) is
an important link for teachers, governors and parents concerning
UK education. It provides information about many aspects including
education qualifications, annual results statistics, recommended
schemes of work for teachers and lifelong learning. It brings together
the work of the National Council for Vocational Qualifications (NCVQ)
and the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority (SCAA) with additional
powers and duties. This gives it a unique overview of curriculum,
assessment and qualifications across the whole of education and
training in the UK.
Ofsted is to the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED), officially
the Office of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools in England.

related to education in the United Kingdom and is the national focal
point for learning on the Internet.
The General Teaching Council is dedicated to raising the professional status and public standing
of teachers, provides an influential and independent voice for teachers
and maintains and guarantees high professional standards of teaching.

Agency aims to raise standards
in schools by attracting able and committed people to teaching and
by improving the quality of teacher training.
The Times Educational Supplement is a weekly newspaper dedicated to British Education. This is a
very informative newspaper for teachers and parents.
Parents provides the British Government's
education information for parents.

Council aims is to create enduring
partnerships between British and other cultures and we do this by
creating opportunities to connect with the latest skills, ideas
and experience from the UK.
Digitalbrain is a huge UK website dedicated
to supporting students and teachers using the English National Curriculum
and Further Education. It is free to enrol and use. You can have
your own work area and store work with Digitalbrain leaving your
own PC memory free.
Samlearning is for SATs (KS1, KS2, KS3), GCSE and A Level courses. It contains
examination revision, a as well as getting parents involved in their
children's learning throughout the year. SamLearning.com is the
nation's top website and the only one approved by the National Association
of Head Teachers.

Topmarks is a free web site which helps others to use the Internet effectively
for learning, as an alternative to subscription services. Topmarks
is aimed specifically at pupils, teachers and parents. Although
