REPORTING

The grades are reported in the Student Organiser every half term, with the tutor comments at the end of each term.

The end of term grades will be added to a full print out of the whole term is progress, together with a summative comment by the class tutor. These grade card reports will be issued at the end of term and, for Key Stage 3, will include a National Curriculum operating level for the term for each subject.

The graph below indicates the National Average Range of Levels of operation for Key Stage 3. As you can see, it is not unusual for a student to remain at the same level for some time, although they will be progressing through the level.

STUDENT ABSENCE FROM SCHOOL

To assist us with our analysis of progress, we will be reporting their attendance each term. This information is being stored alongside progress data and will form part of our developing record of achievement for each student.
