MISSION STATEMENT Context of
the Mission Mission Aims
The School exists to provide the highest standards of British Education in an International Context Welcome to the Alice Smith School Website. Founded in 1946, the school is accommodated on two sites: the Primary School at Jalan Bellamy (Pre-School to Year 6) and the Secondary School at Equine Park (Years 7 to 13). The Primary School offers a broad and well balanced curriculum with a strong emphasis on creativity, excellence and enjoyment. At the Secondary School, the emphasis is on promoting academic excellence balanced with creative and expressive arts, appreciating cultures and relationships and all the while increasing independence of thought and action. Both campuses offer a wide variety of sporting and cultural co-curricular activities and a broad range of residential expeditions and trips for all students in order to develop leadership, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills and provide opportunities for active community service.
